Now resident in the United Kingdom, the Dutch pianist Ariane Lazarom was born in Zeist, The Netherlands.
Awarded the Prix d’Honeur at the Edith Stein competition in The Hague at the age of fifteen, she went on to the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague, where she studied with the Latvian pianist Naum Grubert.
Ariane also studied with Margaret Fingerhut at the Royal Northern College of Music and has had the honour of taking part in masterclasses with Vlado Perlemuter in Dartington.
Her early career in the Netherlands saw much acclaim. She has appeared as a soloist in recitals and in concertos at festivals in Leiden, Utrecht and Delft, as well as in Belgium and in Britain.
Since settling in Britain, Ariane has delighted her audiences, both as a soloist and as an accompanist. She has most recently been awarded sponsorship by the Lynn Foundation for recording a CD of music by Schubert, Mendelssohn, Schumann and Granados.
Diana Galvydyte is a Lithuanian born violinist. She studied with Natalia Boyarsky at the Yehudi Menuhin School in Surrey and at the Royal College of Music in London.
Diana’s appearances include the Wigmore Hall, Cadogan Hall, Buckingham Palace for HRH The Earl of Wessex, as well as live on In Tune BBC Radio 3. Abroad, Diana appeared at Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Konzerthaus in Vienna and gave a recital for Radio France Festival in Montpellier.
Diana performed as a soloist with the Philharmonia Orchestra at Windsor castle as the Winner of the International Windsor Festival String Competition. She made her USA debut performing Elgar’s Violin Concerto with the Bakersfield Symphony Orchestra.
Diana’s CD “A Different World” was awarded four stars by the BBC Music Magazine.
